Jennifer Savio, owner of California-based Creative Window Designs and Beach Drapery, has expanded her company's presence into Arizona through the acquisition of Desert Shades & Drapery, an established Scottsdale-based window coverings business and Hunter Douglas Gallery.
The acquisition extends Savio's operations into Arizona and creates a broader service footprint for homeowners, interior designers, architects, builders and commercial clients throughout California and Arizona.
Desert Shades & Drapery provides custom shades, blinds, shutters, drapery, motorized window treatments and installation services. As a Hunter Douglas Gallery, the company offers access to the manufacturer's portfolio of window coverings, automation systems and smart-home-integrated shading solutions.
The company also works with a range of window treatment manufacturers and suppliers, including Alta Window Fashions, Conrad, Fabricut, Graber, Hartmann & Forbes, Kravet, Lutron, Xentric and Soléffect.
Savio said the expansion reflects increasing demand from clients who own homes and manage projects in both California and Arizona.
"Many of our California clients also own homes in Arizona, and we've seen growing demand for continuity across both markets," Savio said. "This expansion allows us to provide the same design resources, product offerings and project management experience regardless of where our clients are located."
Beach Drapery serves builders, interior designers and residential construction projects throughout California and Arizona. Creative Window Designs operates a luxury window treatment showroom in Orange County, California, serving homeowners, designers, architects and builders.
According to Savio, the acquisition creates opportunities to support projects across multiple markets while maintaining consistent service, product sourcing and installation standards.
